Easy Air Fryer Mahi Mahi
This air fryer mahi mahi is a light and flaky dinner that comes together in less than fifteen minutes.
easy.enzo81.xyzMahi mahi is one of my favorite fish to cook because it is mild and holds its shape so well. It is a fantastic option for a quick weeknight dinner when you want something healthy but flavorful without spending all evening in the kitchen.
My top tip for this recipe is to make sure you pat the fish fillets dry with a paper towel before adding your seasoning. Getting rid of that extra moisture helps the spices stick better and gives you a much nicer crust while it cooks.
Ingredients
- 2 mahi mahi fillets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, sliced into wedges
8Instructions
- 1
Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 2
Pat the mahi mahi fillets dry using paper towels.
- 3
Rub the fillets all over with the olive oil.
- 4
In a small bowl, mix the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- 5
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the fish fillets.
- 6
Place the fillets into the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- 7
Cook for 7 to 9 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- 8
Serve warm with fresh lemon wedges squeezed over the top.
Tips
Serve this fish with a side of steamed vegetables or over a fresh garden salad for a complete meal. You can store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Gently reheat it in the air fryer at 300 degrees to keep the texture nice.
