Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip
A creamy and sweet dip that tastes just like a caramel apple in dessert form.
easy.enzo81.xyzThis dip is my absolute favorite treat when autumn rolls around. It combines the tangy richness of a classic cheesecake with the sweet, gooey goodness of caramel apples. It is always a hit at parties and tailgates, plus it is so simple to put together at the last minute.
My top tip is to make sure your cream cheese is softened to room temperature before you start mixing. This ensures the dip comes out perfectly smooth and free of any lumps. It is a fantastic way to use up those extra apples from your weekend trip to the orchard.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup crushed peanuts or toffee bits
- 3 large apples, sliced for serving
5Instructions
- 1
In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- 2
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly onto a serving platter or into a shallow dish.
- 3
Drizzle the caramel sauce generously over the top of the cream cheese layer.
- 4
Sprinkle the crushed peanuts or toffee bits over the caramel.
- 5
Serve immediately with fresh apple slices for dipping.
Tips
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. If you are worried about your apple slices turning brown, toss them in a little lemon juice or pineapple juice before setting them out.
